I am trying to determine whether a painting on plywood is authentic. The artist died almost 20 years ago. I suspect this work was created in the past few years by a forger. Does anyone know if the age of plywood can be determined? or where I can turn?

Back in the early days of plywood , they used a cold press glue cir 40's you might check to see what type resins were used in the plys .
