I was curious if polyester resin would disolve polystyrene foam. I want to laminate some lightweight panels with fiberglass and polystyrene foam board is the lightest/cheapest I have available.

I don't want to have to use epoxy if possible for cost reasons.

hi Tim! Can you help me? i need materials that can be substitute in making panel board.. i will use this for my thesis.. i dont have yet a title.. can you give some ideas.. Im a civil engg. student.. thanks po..

You bet it will!... faster than a hot fart melting thru butter. Rolling Eyes


If you must use polyester resin, then your best bet will be a polyurethane foam.
