I was curious if polyester resin would disolve polystyrene foam. I want to laminate some lightweight panels with fiberglass and polystyrene foam board is the lightest/cheapest I have available.
I don't want to have to use epoxy if possible for cost reasons.

You bet it will!... faster than a hot fart melting thru butter.
If you must use polyester resin, then your best bet will be a polyurethane foam. |
