The raw material used is Polypropylene Copolymer. It is a special grade that is more transparent, very chemically inert and can be sterilized without affecting its properties.
The machines used are injection moulding machines which introduce the molten plastic material into a mould, or a shaped cavity and core. The plastic material then solidifies and takes the required shape, then ejected from the mould.
Usually, the plastic syringe consists of four parts: the barrel, the plunger, the needle and the needle cap. Some plungers have an extra rubber tip.
Machinery and tools greatly vary in prices according to the production capacity required.
