Inner Tubes

Does anyone know how inner tubes,(bike,car,etc) are made?

I can see that they seem to be "cast" or molded, but other than that I'm stumped.

did you ever figure out how they are made? I'm looking for a sheet form of the same rubber material and I'm having trouble finding info...
