question about perfume PERMANENCY

hi friends
i used some perfume oil for air freshener. but the smell is been disappeared so soon. what should i do to make the PERMANENCY better

HI,

You need to add another ingredient called fixative. This is commonly animal-based such as musk oil. It should be available from where you got your essential oils. Benzophenone is also known to have this property of retaining the scent longer than with just pure essential oil. Dosage is about 1% to 2%. You can also throw in an equal amount of Propylene Glycol relative to the essential oil. Hope this helps.
